‘As an Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation, FORWAARD maintains a focus on supporting Aboriginal people experiencing difficulties with drug and alcohol misuse. Whilst we have determined that our 22-bed Rehabilitation service is suitable for initial treatment and care of our clients, throughout our many years of community support, we have observed that our clients are more likely to overcome addictive challenges with additional support.

Accordingly, FORWAARD Aboriginal Corporation provides the Continuing Care Program for clients who have completed our Rehabilitation program. This program enables our guests to reside in our residential setting for up to twelve (12) months under the general guidance and support of our Continuing Care Supervisors.

Through our Continuing Care Program, we aim to provide clients with safe and structured opportunities to develop various living skills, explore training, employment, and volunteering options, and respectfully engage with local communities.
